Identification:
Distinctive thick metallic blue green leaves with narrow leaflets. Leaf texture and colour are similar to Chamaedorea metallica, making this a highly collectable small houseplant palm, tolerable of low light levels and cool temperatures.

General Information:
A tiny, recently discovered palm from montane rainforests of Madagascar with thin, green, clustering stems usually less than 2 m tall and shiny dark blue green metallic, pinnate leaves.

Distribution:

Native to, Madagascar

Found only in Marojejy on humid lower montane forest on steep slope; 1100 m.
