Mauritiella macroclada Information

Identification:
Stems solitary or clustered, to 10 m tall and 15 cm diameter. Leaves 6-12; blade split into about 60 leaflets, these to 4.5 cm wide. Fruits ellipsoid-oblong, 2-2.5 cm long and 1.8-2 cm diameter, reddish brown.

Distribution:

Native to, Colombia, Ecuador

Seasonally or permanently inundated areas, at low elevations but occasionally reaching 1000 m elevation on western Andean slops.

Location: Columbia, Ecuador (2.309433°N, -78.178711°E)
