Araucaria muelleri Information
General Information:
This species typically occurs on ultramafic soils on mountains in the south of Grand Terre. It occurs up to an altitude of 1000 m but has been recorded as low as 150 m. Individual trees gain a height of 25 m and are often of a sparse appearence. Where its range overlaps with A. rulei there can be difficulties distinguishing these two species. IUCN conservation Red List status: Lower Risk.
