Dypsis aquatilis Information
Identification:
A newly described species found growing as solitary rosettes in the beds of slowly flowing sandy streams in the flat lowlands between the foot of Mt. Ivohibe and the main road. More abundant nearer the mountain than the road. It does not grow in closed forest and is more adapted to the cleared, burnt grassland streams.
